Since 2005, he has led the Digestive Endoscopy Unit at Humanitas Research Hospital—one of the largest and most advanced in Italy in terms of procedure volume and complexity. His work focuses on the development and clinical adoption of innovative endoscopic techniques to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal cancers at their earliest stages using minimally invasive approaches.
He has trained and worked in prestigious international centers in France, Germany, and Canada, and has served as Visiting Professor at globally recognized institutions, including Mayo Clinic and Georgetown University.
